Kate: Why are you cradling your shoulder? Did you hurt yourself doing martial arts again?
Caleb: No. I wish. If it had been doing something active like martial arts or even yard work I might consider it a proud injury endured while doing something worthwhile. A war wound. A battle scar. But no-o-o-o-o-o!
Kate: Wait... what happened?
Caleb: I slept the wrong way. That's one thing I don't like about getting older. This fragile, aging body betrays me more and more as the years go by. It's like a subtle reminder that I'm slowly dying. If this is thirty, then forty will have me using crutches, fifty, a walker, and sixty, a wheelchair.
