Caleb: What is this place?!
Kate: It's a simulation we call the Library of Lives, or just the Library for short. Each book you see is the summation of someone's life as a creative narrative. The chapters are segmented by decades lived; that's why they're all different lengths.
Caleb: The souls of every person in all of humanity who ever lived laid out before you for eternity... Wow! Any recurring motifs you've discovered that may help society today?
Kate: Only that if we stopped treating others as competition and started treating them as a collective there are no limits to what can achieve. I don't know what the answers are, but I know we'll only ever discover them together.
