Caleb: So... apparently this obsession with self-improvement is not something unique to me. The majority of thirty-year-olds in America face a mass hysteria about the time they reach this age.
Kate: Makes sense to me. I went through something similar, and all my friends from high school are questioning their choices leading them to now.
Caleb: It's like a light switch turned on in my brain. I'm getting fit, going to back to school, making investments, seeking professional counselling, pursuing creative endeavors, and cultivating the relationships that mean the most to me.
Kate: None of those are bad things, sweetie. And like you said, people on the cusp of thirty are experiencing the same thing. We might not be anything special, but at least we're not alone.
