Episode 49 - Discipline

Caleb: Ugh! I keep looking for inspiration and motivation to write and I'm just not finding any.

Kate: That's your problem right there. You don't need those things and shouldn't rely on them.

Caleb: Say what?

Kate: How's your fitness journey going?

Caleb: Great! I've lost sixty-five pounds, I have normal blood sugar, cholestorol, and blood pressure for the first time in a decade.

Kate: And do you only eat healthy and go to the gym when you feel like it, or do you discipline yourself to do it even when you don't feel inspired and motivated? Those are feelings, and feelings are fickle things, darling. Discipline and hard work gets things done. Stop making excuses and Just Do It.

Caleb: Is that a Nike reference?

Kate: It sure is, but we're going to save that for the next episode.
